Standards of Behavior on Dating4u
Our community spans seven Balkan nations, three major religions, and multiple languages. These guidelines ensure every member feels welcome, valued, and safe - regardless of background.

- Respect cultural traditions - whether it is Slava, Bajram, or Catholic holidays
- Communicate with patience, especially across language differences
- Use recent, unedited photos that accurately represent your appearance
- Report suspicious profiles or uncomfortable interactions immediately
- Treat every match as a real person with feelings and boundaries
- Read profiles thoroughly before initiating conversation
❌ Don't
- Send unsolicited explicit content or inappropriate messages
- Make derogatory comments about someone's nationality, religion, or culture
- Create multiple accounts or use fake identity information
- Request or send money to other members under any circumstances
- Share other members' private information or photos outside the platform
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or mass-messaging tools
- Pressure anyone into meeting in person or sharing personal details
Profile Verification and Authenticity
Dating4u uses a multi-layered verification system to ensure every profile represents a real person. Our proprietary verification process includes dynamic KYC checks, selfie verification, and liveness detection - designed to catch impersonation before it reaches you.
🏅 What the Verified Badge Means
When you see the ✓ Verified badge on a profile, it confirms the member has passed our photo verification, email confirmation, and identity review. Verified profiles are 4x more likely to lead to genuine conversations.
Our Verification Process
- Photo Verification - Members submit a real-time selfie that is compared against their profile photos using facial recognition technology
- Email & Phone Confirmation - Every account requires a verified email address and phone number
- Profile Review - Our moderation team manually reviews flagged profiles and new registrations from high-risk regions
- Ongoing Monitoring - Behavioral analysis algorithms detect unusual patterns such as mass messaging, copy-paste conversations, or rapid profile changes

Prohibited Content and Actions
The following behaviors result in immediate review and potential account removal. Zero tolerance protects every member.
How We Moderate and Handle Reports
Our moderation team works around the clock to review reports and maintain community integrity. Most reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
Report Submitted
Use the report button on any profile or conversation. Describe the issue - your report is completely confidential. Screenshots are helpful but not required.
Team Reviews
Our trained moderation team examines the reported content, reviews conversation history, and checks account activity patterns. We never share your identity with the reported user.
Action Taken
Based on severity and our guidelines, we issue a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent ban. You will receive a notification about the outcome of your report.
Consequences of Violating Community Guidelines
We use a graduated enforcement approach. The severity of the action depends on the nature and frequency of the violation.
⚠️ Warning
First-time minor violations - such as an inappropriate comment or incomplete profile information - result in a formal warning with guidance on how to comply. Your account remains active.
⏸️ Temporary Suspension
Repeated violations or moderate offenses lead to a 7-30 day account suspension. During this period, you cannot send messages, view profiles, or access premium features.
🚫 Permanent Ban
Severe violations - including harassment, scam attempts, fake identity, or hate speech - result in permanent account removal with no option to re-register. We may also report illegal activity to law enforcement.
